Help Fight Heart Disease

Grades 3-5
On Monday, February 13th all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders were sent home with a “Jump Rope For Heart’’ (JRFH) permission form. The JRFH event to benefit the American Heart Association will take place on Thursday, March 9th from 12:45-3:00 (it is an early dismissal day). Please review the form to see if this is something your child would like to take part in. Unfortunately, due to space limitations we will only be able to include 150 children.
If your child is interested in participating and can arrange for a ride home or goes to after-care they must bring the form to Mr. Wallenhorst, Ms. Brodka or Ms. Hancock (NOT their classroom teacher). Once they turn in the form, they will be given their “Sponsor envelope” and should plan on being a part of our event. Please remember - only the first 150 children to sign up will be able to participate!! Students should turn in their "sponsor envelope" on the day of the event.
If your child can’t participate in the JRFH event, they can still help fight Heart Disease by making a small donation to the American Heart Association Fund (located in the PE OFFICE). Students that make a donation will be recognized on a bulletin board located in the front hallway, outside the front office.
